New Symphony Park Entrance Sign and it has neon!

The new Symphony Park entrance sign was lit up this Wednesday night (2/28/2012) with sits at the west entrance of the new urban downtown development, Symphony Park. The sign is made up of plastic colored back-lit triangles and in the extruded lettering is highlighted with micro neon tubing on the sides of each letter.

Sorry, it’s not neon. All lighting is LED. It’s also not finished – there’s a trim piece to be installed in the gap at the bottom.

After closer inspection of the sign with a zoom lens of my camera, what looked like tiny tubes of lights, was actually slots in the lighting cans backlight from behind. No neon there, but I love the the new sign. I am glad to see and end cap is going to be placed on the end. The whole place is truly a class act and recently got the full tour of the place see lasvegas360.com for the new pictures posted today.
