The Old Holsum Bakery on Charleston Blvd. in Las Vegas, Nevada

The bakery originally opened in 1954 and provided bread to Las Vegas that was fresher than what was shipped to the city. Two more buildings were added in 1955 and the bakery went through different owners before it closed in 2002.

Went on a tour when I was younger. They gave out mini loafs of bread.
Whenever you drive on Charleston (in the wee hours of the morning) the smell was AWESOME!

I was just saying that about being able to smell the bread as we passed by on our way to school. ❤️

Gosh how I miss Roman Meal bread!! I live in Sunbury Pa which was where the original big bakery was. Smelled bread throughout the city!! Walking to school was pleasant.
Miss it.
