When Not In Vegas: How Virtual Casinos Work

August 18, 2020
Green table with casino chips, cards on notebook, image of poker player on screen of laptop. Concept for online gambling

The first online gambling site hit the internet in 1996. Since then, virtual casinos have steadily grown more popular as the internet has become more widely available.

Just like a physical casino, there are tons of different ways to gamble online. While the principle is the same, some people may find it difficult to know where to find online casinos and how to use them.

If you’re wondering how online gambling works, look no further. Keep reading for everything you need to know about virtual gambling.

What Are Virtual Casinos?

Virtual casinos are websites that allow you to play and wager money on casino games online. These websites can be found just like any other web address, by typing it in your address bar or clicking a link that leads you to the website.

With the popularity of smartphones and tablets, online casinos can also be found in app stores. This allows you to download them onto your mobile device and play from wifi or mobile internet connections.

There are many different casino games to choose from with most virtual casinos. You can pick between classic casino games, bingo, sports betting, and more.

How Do Virtual Casinos Work?

When visiting an online casino for the first time, you will be asked to make an account. This ensures that the website knows you’re of the age to legally gamble, and differentiates you from other online players.

Once you make an account, you will be asked to deposit money into your account. Most people use a credit or debit card, but some online casinos allow you to use PayPal or other online money transferring systems.

You can choose to put as little or as much money into your account as you want. This could help you limit the money you use to gamble so you don’t end up spending it all in one place.

After you make an account and deposit money, you’re ready to discover all the real money online casino games can pay you. All that’s left is choosing the games you want to play.

Types of Online Casino Games

When you think of casino games, your mind likely wanders to blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. Virtual casinos allow you to play all the games in a casino in the comfort of your homes.

Some websites are even pushing for virtual reality casino setups, where you can use VR goggles to simulate playing in a real casino setting. While it sounds far-fetched, some companies have already made virtual reality gaming possible with VR poker.

Some other ways you can gamble online are betting on real-life sports games and horse races. Some websites even have virtual bingo games you can play to win money.

Basically, if you can bet on it in real life, you can bet on it online. Now you can find a game you enjoy and start winning cash at home.

Bet You’ll Love it

Now you understand how virtual casinos work. All that’s left is to find an online gambling website and start winning cash!

How Do You Know When a Slot Machine Will Hit?

June 29, 2020
Online gambling concept. Slot machine on a smartphone screen, poker chips and abstract background. 3d illustration

As human beings, we’re programmed to see patterns in everything. It’s a survival mechanism, dating back to the ancient days of hunting and gathering in the wild.

It’s stuck around with us ever since, popping up all throughout our daily lives. One place where it likes to pop up is during games of chance. Slot machines, for example.

Slot machines are designed to be the purest game of chance there is. A game of complete randomness. And yet, ask any regular slots player, and they’ll swear up and down that there’s a knack to it. They’ll swear different machines have different tells, and that if you can spot them, you’ll be able to win big.

So, how do you know when a slot machine will hit? Is it even possible to tell? Let’s take a look.

How Do You Know When a Slot Machine Will Hit?

The short answer? You can’t.

I’m sorry, I know that’s not what people want to hear. But the fact of the matter is, slot machines are pure games of chance, and any claims otherwise are just superstition, the same as any other.

Now, that’s not to say that there’s no way to maximize your payout, or your enjoyment, from a slot machine. There are a few things you can do to try and increase your odds of walking away with something.

As with all gambling games, never go into something that doesn’t fit your pocket. Have some money, be willing to lose it if you have to, and don’t go beyond that. Any successful gambler will tell you that knowing when to quit is one of the most important skills they have.

The closest thing to an actual slot machine tell is the difference between video slots and three-reel slots. There actually is a difference in the odds between the two. Namely, three-reel slots have a higher chance at a big payout, but a lower chance of a win overall. Video slots tend to have a higher win chance, but lower odds of a big win.

Going into it knowing that can help you decide what game you’re going to play, based on your wants and what you can afford that night. But that’s as close as we’re ever going to get to an actual tell, and beyond that both games are still completely random.

Don’t believe me? Test out your luck on one of my favorite online games, Rick and Morty Megaways

Have Fun With Games Of Chance

How do you know when a slot machine will hit? Unfortunately, the answer is that you can’t tell. Slot machines have been engineered down to the smallest detail to make them as random as possible, so that people can’t game them at the casinos.

Any tells that may have existed and that you may have heard of have surely been removed. Any games you find in the casinos, or online, are pure chance.

That’s not to say that you shouldn’t go and play. Just because they’re random doesn’t mean they can’t be a great time. And now that you know better how they work, it’s easier to know what you’re getting into. So go out, find a game, and have a great time.

The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino in 2014

The Gold Coast opened its doors on December 21, 1986. It was the first casino built from the ground up by Las Vegas casino mogul Michael Gaughan, who already operated the Barbary Coast on the Las Vegas strip. Upon opening its doors, the Gold Coast was the first casino to have a movie theater in Las Vegas and was specifically catering to the growing “locals” market of the Las Vegas suburbs. It was the second major resort built on the west side of I-15, ten years after Palace Station.  The hotel has 711 rooms and suites, five restaurants, a showroom/lounge, a beauty salon, a barber shop, and a 70 lane bowling center. The casino has a 700 seat bingo room, table games, slot machines, and a Race and Sports Book.

Michael Gaughan merged his Coast Casinos brand, which included the Gold Coast, with Boyd Gaming in 2004.

The Gold Coast went through major renovations in 2002 that provided additional space for parking, restaurants, and gaming. During the renovations the resorts theme was changed from dark country western gambling hall to a more modern gaming facility.

Top 3 Play’n Go Online Slots 2019

December 19, 2019
Mahjong 88

Play’n Go is ranked as one of the top software providers in the gambling world. They are widely known for their innovative and creative gaming designs. In fact, if you are a video slot fan, then you have probably played a couple of their games.

The developer is dedicated to providing the best games to their players. Perhaps that’s why they have won a couple of awards like the Mobile Supplier of the Year from the 2019 EGR B2B awards. Other than meeting their players’ demands, they work hard to customize games that meet the casino operators’ expectations.

2019 has been a great year for this game provider. They have been crowned for a couple of awards and they have also launched some amazing games. Below is a list of their top three free slots no download in 2019.

Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead

From India to Egypt, Rich Wilde is one of the famous adventurous characters in Play’n Go game selection. If you have played any Egyptian-themed slot before, then this one is not different at all, except it has better payouts and visuals. It is one of the most played games in 2019.  The Book of Dead video slot has 10 paylines and five reels. It is filled with special features including scatters, wilds, and free spins. All these features have the potential of high payouts.

The book is the scatter and the wild at the same time. Five books have a payout of 200 times the bet. Another character that pays highly is Rich Wilde. Lining 5 of Rich Wilde symbols will pay 5000x the betting line. Pharaoh also pays generously with five of this symbols resulting in a payout of 2000 times the line bet. Book of Dead has an RTP of 96.21%.

Rage to Riches

With an RTP of 97.12%, Rage to Riches is one of the games with the highest payout percentage from Play’n Go. The game is loved not only for its high RTP but also its money-spinning bonus features and impressive graphics. It boasts 20 paylines and 5 reels.

Instead of the usual reels spinning, it uses the tumbling engine whereby symbols fall from above resulting in consecutive winnings. The game also comes with a multiplier which can multiply the winnings up to 5 times. Additionally, players can take advantage of the free spins which can bring about 50 bonus rounds.

Mahjong 88

This Asian-themed title is quite new in the gambling industry, even though the game itself has existed for hundreds of years. Mahjong 88 is the first-ever video slot from Play’n Go with an 8×8 reel set. It was released in May 2019 and was inspired by the Chinese Mahjong tile game. It runs on a cluster pay engine so don’t expect to see any paylines here.

The game comes with four seasons – autumn, summer, spring, and winter. Each of these seasons has its wild feature that can be retriggered when the player doesn’t get a winning combination. Mahjong 88 has high volatility with an RTP of 96.62%.

Final Thoughts

Play’n Go is a synonym for creative and innovative games. This software provider design games that will not only meet casino operators’ needs but also their players. These top three are just some of their most played and loved slots in 2019. They are ideal for both novices and experts. The game provider launches new releases every month, and those that are popular today may not be tomorrow. You can try
