El Portal sign was the location of Las Vegas’ first movie theater, now home to a gift shop.

Opened by William Pike and future Las Vegas Mayor Ernie Cragin in 1928, the theater, located at 310 Fremont St., was the city’s first, and at times only, movie theater. The theater was the first air-conditioned building in Las Vegas. Now home to a gift shop. Currently lives under the Fremont Street Experience canopy in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada

Beauty Bar in Downtown Las Vegas in the Fremont East District

The Beauty Bar is located in the Fremont East District in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beauty Bar founder Paul Devitt pioneered into downtown Las Vegas in May 2004. Located on East Fremont Street Beauty Bar features a large back patio for live shows and is retrofitted with the late fifties Capri Salon of Beauty from Trenton, New Jersey.

Insert Coin(s) is a mix of a classic video arcade, drinks and music all wrapped up in to a nightclub. The 7,000-square-foot lounge, bar and nightclub is home to more than 45 refurbished classic arcade cabinets and 40 video game consoles, all with HDTVs, ranging from the Atari 2600 to the Super Nintendo to the Xbox 360.

Located in the up and coming trendy entertainment district of downtown Las Vegas called Fremont East.

Anderson Dairy Neon Milkman

Andy Anderson, the Anderson Dairy mascot, was originally installed in 1956 at the dairy located at 1440 Las Vegas Boulevard North. The sign was restored through a generous donation from Clary and Lauren Molasky. It was installed as part of the Neon Museum on July 8, 1997. The sign can now be found on the southeast corner of Fremont Street Experience and 4th Street. It is believed to have been designed by Hermon Boernge. It was built by Young Electric Sign Co. (YESCO).

Daily Neon: Dot’s Flowers

Dot’s Flowers was a well-known local floral shop on Las Vegas Blvd. 

The sign was built by YESCO and dates circa 1949. It was restored by The Neon Museum and installed November 15, 2000. This neon sign can be found on the Fremont Street Experience.
